Cuisine is joining F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic to discover the stories of F.A.W.C! Hawke’s Bay Legends.
Who are the visionaries who have helped shape New Zealand’s Food and Wine Country into the amazing playground for foodies that it is today?
From the artisan producers of the Wairoa District and the decadent dining of Napier City to the produce powerhouse that is Hastings District and the prime farmlands of Central Hawke’s Bay, it’s the talented people behind the food and drink that we all enjoy who are leading the way.
Know a winemaker who revolutionised the industry? A food producer whose humble harvest speaks volumes? Or perhaps a chef who has broken new ground? We want to hear from you!
Let us know who you think deserves to be crowned a Hawke’s Bay Legend at www.fawc.co.nz/hawkesbaylegends
Nominations close June 27, 2021, with the Hawkes Bay Legend announced on the opening night of the 10th ever F.A.W.C! Summer Series this November.
F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic Summer Series will be a celebration of the now iconic foodie festival, and Cuisine will be on hand to kick start the festivities.
The decade of decadence will be toasted to across 10 sumptuous days, with Cuisine Editor Kelli Brett on hand to anoint the Hawke’s Bay legends.
The festival itself will run from November 5th – 14th, with chefs, wine makers, artisanal producers, craft distillers and taste makers from across Hawke’s Bay and New Zealand coming together for the annual event. Always an absolute highlight in any foodies’ calendar, this 10-year anniversary will be bigger and better than ever.
If that has your taste buds drooling already and you can’t wait until November for a taste of Food and Wine Country, you can get your dose at Hawke’s Bay’s Winter F.A.W.C! Food and Wine Classic.
