1 orange, plus extra to garnish | |
240ml Lillet Blanc | |
240ml Cocchi Americano | |
240ml Juno Gin | |
4 sprigs thyme |
Instructions
1. | To infuse the spirits, peel the orange and remove the white pith from the skin. |
2. | Combine the spirits in a preserving jar or any airtight container. |
3. | Submerge the thyme sprigs in the spirits. |
4. | Release the oils from the orange peels by twisting them into the jar. |
5. | Seal and let it sit overnight at room temperature. |
6. | Strain into an empty bottle and keep refrigerated until use. |
7. | When ready to make the cocktails, for each serving pour 90ml of the infusion into a mixing glass over ice and stir until chilled. |
8. | Strain into an Old Fashioned glass with ice. |
9. | Garnish with an orange twist. |
