Green Beans with Citrus Butter & Almonds

600g green beans, stalk ends trimmed | |
zest of 1 orange | |
juice of 1⁄2 orange | |
20g butter, softened | |
1⁄4 cup slivered almonds, toasted |
Instructions
1. | Cook the beans in boiling water until tender. |
2. | Drain and combine with the orange zest, juice and butter. |
3. | Place in a serving dish, sprinkle the toasted almonds over and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. |
