Looking for Asian-fusion? With a waterside setting? And the attention of dedicated owners and operators who know their stuff? Then head to Hello Beasty. Stuart and Emma Rogan are partners in both life and business. Head chef Stuart cut his teeth in kitchens locally and internationally, and has picked up some commendable gongs along the way. In 2018, the Rogans established their cool, excellent and friendly space right on the Viaduct Harbour. By their own description, their menu is inspired by the delicious kind of complicated simplicity that they love about the cuisines of Japan, Korea and China. Said simplicity is deceptive: dishes are expertly crafted with clean flavours and well-balanced combinations. A particularly big tick goes to Beasty’s Korean-spiced barbecue chicken. The crispy pork belly is a winner too.
