A fair swag Kiwi and a little bit Nordic: it’s a combination that the locals are loving. Beautifully presented sharing plates offer a Scandi twist but the waterfront terrace is pure New Zealand. The wine selection is small but well curated. Swing by this laidback eatery to discover something new.

Wairau River Restaurant

Their blue cheese soufflé is legendary; teamed with a cheeky pinot gris and the tableau of the vineyard set on the banks of the river, it’s an unforgettable pairing.
