With the official title of operations manager for Hugo’s Bistro and Odettes Eatery, Poi Eruera (pictured above) has also jumped in this year as restaurant manager at Hugo’s. You may find her in all parts of the business from back of house through to front and anywhere in between, with a loyal fan base of staff following her charmingly cohesive lead. Her love for hospo life began in Italy on a student exchange, where she discovered that a service career in hospitality could be a true and valued profession. She brings this mantra to her diverse roles across these two thriving restaurants, where she facilitates a hospitality experience of the highest quality at every turn – her famous chats with customers are as valuable as a big warm hug. Poi’s hospitality dynamism is demonstrated with the greatest of ease and makes her our standout for the prestigious Kenwood Restaurant Personality of the Year Award 2023/2024.
