It’s a sign of a restaurant’s place in the world when you can identify it not necessarily by its name but by those of its owners. And so it is here, where regulars are just as likely to talk about going to Leslie and Mo’s as they are to say Apéro. Leslie Hottiaux and Mo (Ismo) Koski have been doing their welcoming thing on the strip for close to a decade. That translates to tried-and-true French-bistro food with a twist. Their pork sausage is legendary, as is their terrine and it would be hard to bypass the (baked-to-order) madeleines. Toulousaine Leslie does the food; Mo manages the superb selection of wines. This all-embracing hospitality is all built on a very simple ethos: good food, great wine and above all else, good times. Go for a glass; stay a lot longer.
