With the ability to make diners feel special the minute they walk in the door, she sets the tone, and the staff follow her lead. She has the uncanny knack of being able to predict and pre-empt a diner’s every need, which she achieves without drama. According to Hello Beasty owners Stu and Emma Rogan, Kamal teaches them, in her unique low-key way, important lessons about service and hospitality, both practical and philosophical.
